This was a very special day. Karen McKenna and her family Dave, Kendra and Sarah Murray took everyone dog mushing on the trails near Lorne Mountain Community Centre.

Dave Brook led the kids and adults on a 10 kilometre skate ski through an open pine forest with beautiful views of the surrounding mountain country.

In between dog mushing and skiing, everyone had an opportunity to go ice skating on the outdoor rink next to the centre.
